Here's where the worry, concern and even panic of middle age sets in. Forgetting some information and taking a little longer to remember things as you age is normal. It's no different from needing more time to run around the block or using more energy to lift some weight.

But because we're used to hearing about keeping our bodies in shape and not used to hearing about keeping our brains in shape, we begin to worry when we see a decline in ability and start thinking that we're over the hill. So while there’s no need to lose your mind over worry, you are right to try and keep your mind healthy so that you’ll be able to keep on ‘lifting weights’ in your mind for a very long time.
