Brain Memory

Most of us take thinking for granted until…we forget where we left our keys, forget that name we once knew or forget, in mid-sentence, what it was that we wanted to say!

Thinking is perhaps the most obvious and most important aspect of what the brain does. By thinking, the brain solves problems, communicates and moves us through the day. The brain serves as an “executive” that guides and manages our daily functioning. In fact, the functions of the brain related to thinking, like attention, insight, creativity, planning and control are called “executive functions”, since they help monitor and guide us, much as an executive administers a company.
